About Dr. Mirza

Dr. Mirza (she/her/hers) is a licensed clinical psychologist with unique expertise in mindfulness for optimizing wellness, multiculturalism, emotion regulation and women’s health. She specializes in stress reduction and the medical and mental health impact of life transitions. Dr. Mirza has taught psychology and counseling skills to undergraduate and graduate students as an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University and Palo Alto University. In addition to her teaching and clinical work, Dr. Mirza works as a behavioral health consultant to local startup companies.

Dr. Mirza enjoys working with adults in San Francisco, Palo Alto and via telemedicine across the State of California. Dr. Mirza completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Kaiser Permanente and her pre-doctoral internship at the Carson Center for Adults and Families. Dr. Mirza obtained her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D Consortium and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wellesley College.
